DreamSpark is the Microsoft system for distributing technical software to students and teachers for free. Developer and designer tools include Visual Studio, Expression Studio, Kinect for Windows SDK, XNA Game Studio, Kodu Game Lab and Visual C++. Servers include Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008.

Internet Filtering Trial
During May and June a variety of enhanced internet filtering systems are being tested. These include new cyber-safety software and the latest YouTube for Schools system.
At present these trials only effect Year 7 students, who may find changes to their browsing experince, including additional features.
